Chris has accumulated 55 years of wisdom through living an examined life. This includes charting a way from a head-first corporate meaningless life to a heart-first, embodied life of presence and purpose. Formal studies in Somatic Coaching at the Strozzi Institute for several years, including a year-long intensive directly with Richard Strozzi, broadened Chris' understanding of living a life of embodied presence. Combined with edge-walking experience, Chris now offers a simple council style session to allow intentional space for what wants to emerge for a person seeking council.
For many years Chris edge walked without knowing why, just answering the call to know thy self. Conscious dance practice, Continuum, Soulcraft, The Way of the Superior Man, massage school, Embodied Leadership programs, partner dance, anything that promised some exploration of embodiment, Chris stepped into it. All of these served to form a broad spectrum of practices and self wisdom that now serves to open and hold containers for others seeking to know thy self, as well.
Chris did not start out expecting to be helping others in relationship matters, or to be a mentor to men and young men, or be working his way into elderhood. It simply became clear as more and more people started seeking council with Chris. Now he has opened himself to what seems to want to happen, which is serving others on the path towards deep self love.
